Share your Stories!

Let's face it, we've all had interesting childhoods and have many stories to share! Why not help each other! Do you still remember some of the hurtful things your parents said when they were angry, disappointed or frustrated with you? Do you remember what positive phrases they used that made you feel good about yourself?

Our current focus . . . Words can hurt (or help)!

Did you grow up with phrases such as these:

“What did I do to deserve a kid like you?”
“How could you be so stupid and live?”
“You got just what you deserved.”
“I wish you were never born.”

Let us know what phrase(s) you heard that linger with you as an adult. Once we have compiled a list -- we'll put them together to share with you!
