Dear
Nancy,
This
letter of thanks is a little late in coming and for that I
apologize.
The
reason for that is partly due to the fact that every time
I think about putting something down on paper I can't imagine
what I could say that would convey to you what a wonderful
job you did of presenting to our group last June.
When
I took on the task of locating a speaker for our agency's
workshop I knew it would be difficult to find someone who
would meet the standard of previous speakers
(i.e., Barbara Colorosa, Anthony Wolf and Adele Faber.)
Wow,
did you ever make me look good. Your performance exceeded
all out expectations. Your practical information, advice and
observations, wrapped in your delightful sense of humor, was
a gift to those in attendance that will last for years to
come.
Our
agency continues to use your ideas in its work and calls still
come in from parents and professionals wanting copies of your
books.
I
wish you all the best in any future endeavors and hope you
will consider a return to Nova Scotia some day.
Again,
thank you for an outstanding workshop. Keep in touch.
